Who We Are

Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital is a multi-disciplinary 300-bedded Hospital established at Muddenahalli, in the district of Chikkaballapur, Karnataka in South India. The main objective of the Hospital is to make quality healthcare accessible for all, absolutely free of cost, without any barriers or distinctions. The 300-bedded hospital is being built in two phases.

Phase One of the Hospital was inaugurated by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai on the auspicious Makara Sankranti day – 14 January 2018, as a preliminary outpatient centre. In the current phase of development, the Hospital will offer a 150-bedded high dependency COVID Care specialty facility consisting of 125 HDU and oxygenated beds, and 25 ICU beds, with specially equipped paediatric and neonatal ICU facilities to be battle-ready, should there be a third wave of the COVID pandemic.

Soon, the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital will grow into a teaching and training hospital, which will produce paramedics, nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals, who are willing to dedicate their lives in the service of the sick and the impoverished citizens of the nation.
