The Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital is managed by a team of stellar professionals, who after rich experiences in India and abroad decided to extend their support and dedicate their services for the cause of humanity. With an emphasis on patient centred care, the Board of Management leads the Hospital towards excellence in every single aspect of healthcare and medical care. 

Dr Nityanand S T | General Physician

Dr Nityananda, after completing his Pre-University from the Sri Sathya Sai educational institutions, pursued MBBS. He established his own private practice in the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka. He has been tirelessly treating those in need for the last 25 years, and as a visiting physician, Dr Nityananda volunteers his time and skills at the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital.

Dr Raghupati | Pathologist

After completing Pre-University at the Sri Sathya Sai educational institutions, Dr Raghupati pursued MBBS, and went on to complete his MD from the Mysore Medical College in Karnataka, and served in the Medical Education Department, teaching many aspiring physicians. After retiring from his post, he re-tyred himself and joined the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital, to serve the destitute population of the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka.

Dr K Ramesh Rao | Dentist

Dr K Ramesh Rao completed his BDS from the University of Madras in 1973 and DDS from the University of Buffalo, New York in 1990. He was a medical practitioner in Zambia and the United States for over 27 years and moved to India to join the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital. He leads the team at the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital and is seen at the forefront of all medical camps which are regularly conducted in the surrounding villages.

Dr Satish Babu | Endocrinologist

Dr Satish Babu, one of the leading Endocrinologists in Bengaluru, after completing his schooling from the Sri Sathya Sai educational institutions continued to pursue his passion in medicine and completed MBBS from the Government Medical College, Bellary and MD (General Medicine) from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore. Following this, he worked in world- renowned Hospitals like the Cambridge University Hospital - Cambridge, Kings College Hospital - London and Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital - London. His Endocrine five years Fellowship was from these reputed Institutions.

He was a Consultant Endocrinologist at Cardiff University, Cardiff, UK, before moving back home to India. Currently, he spearheads the Department of Endocrinology at SPARSH Hospitals in Bengaluru. He is also a visiting Consultant at other hospitals in Bengaluru -Cloud Nine Hospitals and Kangaroo Care Women & Child Hospital. He has a consultation chamber at White Lotus Endocrine Centre, Bangalore.

His genuine efforts for equitable & affordable health services for all has lead him to be nominated as member of syndicate, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Convener, Vision Group, Department of Health & Medical Education, Government of Karnataka

Dr Satish Babu is also at the helm of a unique mother and child health initiative, the ‘Divine Mother and Child Health Program’ (DMCHP) established in the year 2017 by the Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust. His selflessness transcends barriers, and he is a constant inspiration to many healthcare professionals.

Dr Suresh Kodapala | Neurologist

Dr Suresh Kodapala completed his Pre-University from the Sri Sathya Sai educational institutions and pursued his MBBS from a reputed University in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Currently, he is a Professor and also spearheads the Department of Neurology at Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre in Bengaluru. He has also served at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield (Karnataka) for many years. While pursuing his promising career, his innate selflessness drives him to volunteer regularly at medical camps organised by the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust, and he also extends his services at the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital. 

Dr Premananda S | General Physician

Dr Premananda completed his Pre University at Sri Sathya Sai Institutions, he pursued MBBS. He has over 25 years of experience in his own private clinic in the district of Mandya, Karnataka in South India. Currently, he is dedicating his worthy experience in the service of people from Chikkabalapur district, Karnataka through Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital.

Dr Ram Setty | Cardiologist

Dr Ram Setty is a retired cardiologist who had a practice in Santa Maria, California for almost 40 years. He received his cardiology / interventional cardiology training at both the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi and at the Cleveland Clinic, and devoted his time to serving his patients by personalising patient care as an internist and cardiologist.

Dr Setty led the effort in developing the first dedicated regional heart center in the Central Coast area in California and served as the Director of Cardiology.  This Center continues to serve the community as a robust part of his legacy. Dr Setty now devotes his time to humanitarian projects and is a volunteer cardiologist. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology (FACC), American College of Chest Physicians (FACP), American College of Angiology (FACA). He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Advanced Internal Medicine, Geriatrics.

Dr Saritha Purushothaman | Consultant Paediatrician

Dr Saritha Purushothaman (Management Cou

Dr Saritha Purushothaman is a MD in Paediatrics, DCH, MRCPCH (UK). Previously she served as a middle grade doctor, Paediatric and Neonatal, BHR NHS Trust, London, United Kingdom. She also worked as a consultant paediatrician at the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital at Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh) in South India. She also served as an Assistant Professor in Paediatrics for a few years at the Pariyaram Medical College, Kannur, Kerala in the Southern part of India. 

Mr SS Bharath Kumar | BE, MBA, Financial Controller and Coordinator of the Executive Council

After a career in International Trade based out of Singapore and  working with one the world’s top paper trading companies, Bharath joined the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust (PBMT) in the year 2017. He heads the projects department of PBMT and is also a member of the Board of Management of the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence.

After a successful stint of 18 years in the Financial Services Industry and working in Bajaj Finserv of the Premier NBFCs in the country today, Ashimavo has joined the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital as the Chief Finance Officer.
